Platinum
Swimmers will be introduced to the four major competitive strokes. Emphasis will be placed on stroke technique and mechanics. Swimmers will be introduced to stroke terminology and be taught starts, turns and finishes.
Required Skills for Platinum
Ability to swim 50 yards of any 2 competitive strokes
Ability to swim in deep water
Ability to complete a 1-hour practice
Recommended age: 6 & up
Swim 10X25 Free on the 2 minute

Platinum : Monday-Friday @ Brownell 4:30pm- 5:30pm
Saturdays @ South 11:00am- 12:00am
Coaches will be available to talk to parents after practice.

Gold and Gold Plus
This group will emphasize advanced stroke technique and overall conditioning. Swimmers will continue to develop techniques in all four competitive strokes. Interval training will be introduced with continued emphasis on competitive starts, turns and finishes.
Required Skills for Gold
Ability to swim three competitive strokes
Ablity to swim 100 without a problem
Swim 10X50 Free on the 2:00
Swim 8X25 IM order on the 1:30
Demonstrate knowledge of competitive starts and turns
Ability to complete a 1 hour practice
Recommended age: 8 and up
Practice Schedule:
Gold: Monday – Friday @ Brownell 5:30pm – 6:30pm
Saturday @ South 11:00am – 12:00am

Silver
Swimmers will begin advanced interval training and begin to emphasize goal setting, racing strategies, mental preparation and nutrition. In addition, swimmers will begin strength and flexibility training. Stroke mechanics will continue to be reinforced with the expectation that swimmers will be able to identify and master proper stroke technique.
Required Skills for Silver
Ability to swim four competitive strokes legally
Demonstrate proficiency in competitive starts, turns and finishes
Swim 500 freestyle continuously
Swim 6X100 Free on the 2:00
Swim 5X100IM on the 2:30
Understand goal sets
Complete 3000 -4000 yards per practice
Recommended ages: 10 and up
Silver Practice Schedule:
Mondays – Fridays @ South 6:00pm – 730pm
Saturdays @ South 12:00pm – 2:00pm
AM Practices @ South Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 515am – 7:15am
